PREM KUTIR is set up as a home for SENIOR CITIZENS of MIDDLE and LOW income group, on a sprawling area of approximately four acres of land in SHILLAR village near KARJAT
Thanks to the generous donation from Shri Krishna Chakravarthy, an entrepreneur and philanthropist, the trust received a piece of land at Shilar village where the trust constructed PREM KUTIR. The land commands a panoramic view, being situated in the valley of the Western Ghats, and has a peaceful ambience. It is situated ~25 Kms from KARJAT railway station and is ~2 hours’ drive either from MUMBAI or PUNE. Transport arrangements are provided from stations to PremKutir.
Thanks to the generous and munificence gesture of a few philanthropists, PREM KUTIR has constructed 14 independent cottages – each cottage comprising of one single-occupancy and one double-occupancy rooms furnished with basic amenities and attached toilets. Each cottage has a sit out area.
